Clarence House

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, the Great Steward of Scotland’s Dumfries House Trust, this morning presented certificates to the Dumfries House Volunteer Police Cadets at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Penny Brohn Cancer Care, was represented by Dr. Michael Dixon (Chairman of Council, the College of Medicine) at the Funeral of Mrs. Patricia Pilkington (Co-Founder, Penny Brohn Cancer Care, formerly Bristol Cancer Help Centre) which was held in St Andrew’s Church, Chew Magna, Bristol, this afternoon.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex this morning visited Booth Brothers Limited, Bullhouse Mill, Lee Lane, Millhouse Green, Sheffield, and was received by Dr Giles Bloomer (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Tata Speciality Steels, Manchester Road, Stocksbridge, Sheffield.

The Earl of Wessex afterwards attended the Barnsley Town Hall Business Showcase at the Town Hall, Church Street, Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

His Royal Highness, Honorary Air Commodore, attended the Battle of Britain Dining in Night at Royal Air Force Waddington, Lincolnshire.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Bicentennial Celebrations, Border Union Agricultural Society, this morning attended Kelso Ram Sales at Springwood Park, Kelso, Roxburghshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Roxburgh, Ettrick and Lauderdale (Captain the Hon Gerald Maitland-Carew).

Kensington Palace

The Duchess of Gloucester this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Croatia, and was received upon arrival this afternoon by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Croatia (His Excellency Mr David Slinn).

Her Royal Highness, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, this evening attended a Dinner at Mare e Monti, Stella Maris 8A, Umag, Croatia.

Miss Lucinda Hanbury is in attendance.
