The Earl of Wessex, Master, the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, this morning visited the gardens at Trinity Manor, La Route De La Trinite, Trinity, and was received by Lieutenant-Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Jersey (General Sir John McColl).

His Royal Highness, Master, the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, this afternoon visited Eric Young Orchid Foundation, Victoria Village, Rue du Moulin de Ponterrin.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, later attended a Gold Award Ceremony and visited the new facilities at St James’ Awards Centre, New St. James’ Place, St. Helier.

His Royal Highness, Master, the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, afterwards visited the gardens at Domaine de Vaux, La Rue De Bas, St. Lawrence.

The Earl of Wessex, Master, the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, this evening attended a Dinner at the Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club, Le Mont du Boulevard, St Brelade.

The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Honorary Colonel, Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers (Militia), this afternoon received Lieutenant Colonel Peter Fisk upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Neil Witcombe upon assuming the appointment.

The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Croatia.

Miss Lucinda Hanbury was in attendance.
