The Duke of York this evening arrived at Soerkarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta, and was received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia (His Excellency Mr Mark Canning)

His Royal Highness later attended an Education Dinner at the Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan, Jakarta.

The Earl of Wessex, Master, the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, this morning visited Lande à Géon, St Peter, and was received by the Lieutenant-Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Jersey (General Sir John McColl).

His Royal Highness, Master, the ­Worshipful Company of Gardeners, ­afterwards visited Les Creux Allotment, St Brelade.

The Earl of Wessex, on behalf of The Queen, later held an Investiture at Government House, St Saviour.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended the Ceremony of the Three Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Presentation of the Royal Mace to the ­Island of Jersey in the Royal Square, St Helier.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, ­Vision 2020: the Right to Sight, and Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for India.

Mrs Rosemary Hamer and Mrs Hannah Howard are in attendance.

The Princess Royal, Patron, RYA Sail­ability, this morning visited Castle Semple Centre, Lochlip Road, Lochwinnoch, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Renfrewshire (Mr Guy Clark).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened a factory extension at Peak ­Scientific Instruments Limited, Fountain Crescent, Inchinnan Business Park, Inchinnan, Renfrewshire.

The Princess Royal later opened the Prestige Bottling Hall, Chivas Brothers Limited, 111-113 Renfrew Road, Paisley, Renfrewshire.
