The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Vision 2020: the Right to Sight, and Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, this morning departed Kolkata International Airport, West Bengal, India, for Qatar on the Orbis Flying Eye Hospital and was received later upon arrival at Doha International Airport by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the State of Qatar (His Excellency Mr Nicholas Hopton).

Her Royal Highness this morning held a Meeting with the Prime Minister of the State of Qatar (His Excellency Sheikh Abdulla Bin Nasser Khalifa Al Thani) at the Doha Palace in Qatar.

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon visited the Museum of Islamic Art, Doha.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Vision 2020: the Right to Sight, and Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, this evening attended a Dinner in support of Orbis at Katara, Doha.
