Balmoral Castle

The Queen was represented by Dr Ingrid Roscoe (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire) at the Memorial Service for Mr John Lyles (formerly Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire) which was held in Wakefield Cathedral this afternoon.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning visited the restored Oystermouth Castle, Newton Road, the Mumbles, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Glamorgan (Mr Byron Lewis).

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the 360 Beach and Watersports Centre, Mumbles Road, Swansea.

The Princess Royal this afternoon visited Wales National Pool Swansea, Sketty Lane, Swansea.

Her Royal Highness later visited Cardiff Youth Offending Service, the Rise, Penhill Road, Cardiff, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Dr Peter Beck).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum, and The Duchess of Gloucester this evening attended a Fundraising Concert in Gloucester Cathedral for the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
