Buckingham Palace

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace this morning for Youth, Education and the Commonwealth at which Princess Beatrice of York and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon renamed The City of AdelaideClipper Ship at the Water Gates, Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich, London SE10.

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Forty Club, this evening attended the Annual Dinner at Lord’s Cricket Ground, London NW8.

Kensington Palace

The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, SportsAid, his morning attended a workshop for young athletes at the Copper Box Arena, Queen Elizabeth’s Olympic Park, London E20.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex this morning visited the Stonehouse Gang, 90-92 Burnel Road, Selly Oak, Birmingham, to mark their Seventy Fifth Anniversary and was received by Major Sylvia Parkin (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited 202 (Midlands) Field Hospital Volunteers and Reserve Forces at Roger Nutbeam House, Dawberry Fields Road, Kings Heath, Birmingham.

The Earl of Wessex later opened Shelfield Community Academy, Broad Way, High Heath, Pelsall, and was received by Colonel Thomas Lloyd (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).

His Royal Highness afterwards opened Pelsall Village Centre, High Street, Pelsall.

The Earl of Wessex subsequently visited Pelsall Hall Residential Home, Paradise Lane, Pelsall.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Commodore-in-Chief, Portsmouth, this morning viewed the Bridge Simulator at HMS Collingwood, Fareham, Hampshire.

Her Royal Highness, Commodore-in-Chief, Portsmouth, afterwards took the salute at the Passing Out Parade at HMS Sultan, Military Road, Gosport, and was received by Rear Admiral John Lang (Deputy Lieutenant of Hampshire).

The Princess Royal, President, the English-Speaking Union of the Commonwealth, this afternoon attended the Branches’ Conference at the Shakespeare Centre, Henley Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Warwickshire (Mr Timothy Cox).
