COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, this evening renamed the South Steps at the Royal Albert Hall, London SW7, the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Steps and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer) and the President of the Royal Albert Hall (Mrs Anthony Travis).

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were present afterwards at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex, The Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, and Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy were also present.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall today carried out engagements in Mumbai, India.

His Royal Highness, President, the British Asian Trust, this morning attended a Meeting of the India Advisory Council at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, Apollo Bunder.

The Prince of Wales, President, the British Asian Trust, and The Duchess of Cornwall afterwards visited the Mumbai Mobile Creche.

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon attended a wreath laying ceremony to commemorate victims of the Mumbai terrorist attack at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.

The Prince of Wales afterwards received Mr Rajan Tata and Mr Cyrus Mistry (Tata Group) at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.

His Royal Highness subsequently attended a Round Table Discussion on Corporate Social Responsibility at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel and was received by Mr Kumar Iyer (Deputy British High Commissioner to the Republic of India).

The Prince of Wales later visited the Godrej Mangrove Reserve.

The Prince of Wales, President, the British Asian Trust, and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Dinner at the Hotel Oberoi.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited the Asha Sadan Residential Home.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge, Vice Patron, Welsh Rugby Union, this afternoon attended The Prince William Cup International Rugby Match between Wales and South Africa at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Dr Peter Beck).

The Duke of York today visited those serving in Afghanistan at Camp Bastion.
