The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, today attended Receptions at St James’s Palace for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by the Very Reverend Professor Iain Torrance (Dean of the Chapel Royal in Scotland) at the Funeral of the Very Reverend Dr William Morris (formerly Dean of the Chapel Royal in Scotland) which was held in Glasgow Cathedral today.

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the International Council, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Association, today chaired Council Meetings at Missenden Abbey Conference Centre, London Road, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire.

The Princess Royal, Patron, College of Occupational Therapists, this morning attended a workshop on “Collaborative Innovation to support Transforming your Care”, Jordanstown Campus, University of Ulster, Newtonabbey, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Antrim (Mrs Joan Christie).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Royal College of Midwives, this afternoon visited the Maternity Unit at Lagan Valley Hospital, 39 Hillsborough Road, Lisburn, County Antrim.

The Princess Royal later opened Bangor Aurora Aquatics and Leisure Complex, 3 Valentine Road, Bangor, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Down (Mr David Lindsay).

Her Royal Highness afterwards opened the new Gymnastics Centre, Rathgael Gymnastics and Tumbling Club, Unit One, Saba Park, 14 Balloo Avenue, Bangor.

The Duke of Gloucester, President, this evening attended the Annual Archive Lecture at St Bartholomew’s Hospital, West Smithfield, London EC1.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, National Association of Decorative and Fine Art Societies, this afternoon attended the Rising to the Challenge Volunteering Festival to commemorate Forty Years of Volunteering and presented the inaugural Marsh Awards for Volunteering at Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8.

The Duke of Kent this morning visited Milmega Limited, Park Road, Ryde, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Isle of Wight (Major General Martin White).
