The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this evening held a Dinner at Frogmore House, Windsor.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall today carried out engagements in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, accompanied by The Duchess of Cornwall, this morning opened the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre and was received by The President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.

The Prince of Wales afterwards visited the National Museum.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Reception for business leaders at Laksala Visitor Centre at the National Museum.

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, later gave a Luncheon Reception at the Tintagel Hotel for new Heads of Government.

His Royal Highness afterwards received His Excellency Mr Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete (President of the United Republic of Tanzania).

The Prince of Wales received His Excellency Mr James Alix Michel (President of the Republic of Seychelles).

His Royal Highness received the Hon Anthony Abbott (Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Australia).

The Prince of Wales received the Hon Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak (Prime Minister of Malaysia).

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening gave a Dinner for Commonwealth Heads of Government at the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel.

The Duchess of Cornwall today visited Colombo Public Library and presented awards to winners of the “Room for Literacy” competition.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Hospice at Home West Cumbria, and The Duchess of Cornwall were represented by the Marquess of Lansdowne at the Funeral Service for Pamela, the Dowager Lady Egremont (Vice President) which was held in St Mary’s Church, Petworth, West Sussex, this morning.

The Princess Royal, President, the City and Guilds of London Institute, this morning attended the Skills Show at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, and was received by Mr David Bradnock (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Royal College of Midwives, this afternoon visited the City Hospital Maternity Unit, Dudley Road, Birmingham, and was received by Mr Simon Topman (Deputy Lieutenant of West Midlands).

The Princess Royal, Royal Patron, the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, this evening attended the Centenary Dinner at the National Museum of Scotland, Chambers Street, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Donald Wilson, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Member of St George’s Chapel Advisory Committee, this morning attended a College and Chapel of St George’s Fabric Advisory Committee Meeting at Windsor Castle.
