His Royal Highness later visited Labookellie Tea Estate, Nuwara Eliya, and was received by the Sri Lankan High Commissioner (Dr C. Nonis).

The Prince of Wales this evening opened the Library at the British Council in Colombo.

The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited Home Start, Colombo.

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Lady Ridgeway Hospital, Colombo.

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited Women in Need, Colombo.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening departed Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo, for the United Kingdom.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, this morning attended a “Captain’s Run” Training Session at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Donald Wilson, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, St Margaret’s Chapel Guild, this afternoon attended the Annual Service in St. Margaret’s Chapel, followed by a Reception at Edinburgh Castle.
