Buckingham Palace
The Queen, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Welsh, today received Lieutenant Colonel Stephen Webb upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer 1st Battalion and Lieutenant Colonel Shon Hackney upon assuming the appointment.
Her Majesty received Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Barry upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer 2nd Battalion.
The Queen received Colonel Peter Gooderson upon relinquishing his appointment as Regimental Secretary and Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Kilmister upon assuming the appointment.
Brigadier Philip Napier (Colonel) was present.
The following were received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon their appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassadors: Mrs Alexandra Hall Hall (Georgia), Ms Sarah Cowley (Republic of Latvia) and Dr Jeremy Hobbs (Republic of Paraguay).
Mr Paul Boschi and Mrs. Hobbs were also received by Her Majesty.
Ms Christina Scott was received in audience by The Queen upon her appointment as Governor of Anguilla.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh held an Evening Reception at Buckingham Palace for the Diplomatic Corps at which The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were present.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the Gallipoli Association, this morning received Captain Christopher Fagan RN (Chairman).

The Prince of Wales this morning visited Higgins Bedford, Castle Lane, Bedford, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire (Mrs Helen Nellis).
His Royal Highness afterwards visited St Paul’s Church, St Paul’s Square, Bedford.
The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited St Peter’s Church, Bedford, and afterwards visited Tempsford Village and unveiled a Memorial to women agents who flew out of Royal Air Force Tempsford during World War Two, and was received by Colonel Colin Mason (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire).
His Royal Highness later visited Jordan’s Mill, Broom, near Biggleswade, Bedfordshire.
The Prince of Wales afterwards met representatives of United Kingdom Trade and Investment and local export companies at Jordan’s Mill.
His Royal Highness later visited Foreign and Commonwealth Office Services staff in Buckinghamshire.
The Duchess of Cornwall, President, National Osteoporosis Society, and President, ShelterBox, this morning attended the Charity Day at Icap plc, 2 Broadgate Circus, London EC2.

The Duke of York, Patron, London Metropolitan University, this morning attended a Graduation Ceremony at the Barbican Centre, London EC2.
His Royal Highness, Past Captain, the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, today held a Past Captains’ Meeting and Luncheon at Buckingham Palace.
The Duke of York, Patron, the Place (London Contemporary Dance Trust), this afternoon received Sir Tim Lankester upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Mr Thomas Lynch upon assuming the appointment.
Mr Kenneth Tharp (Chief Executive) was present.
His Royal Highness received Mr Michael Klowden (President and Chief Executive Officer, the Milken Institute).

The Princess Royal this evening attended the Hereford Cathedral Perpetual Trust Advent Service in the Guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, London SW1, followed by a Reception.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, the Lullaby Trust, this evening attended a Reception to mark the Twenty Fifth Anniversary of the Care of the Next Infant Programme at St James’s Palace.

The Duke of Kent, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys), this evening attended the Annual Officers’ Regimental Dinner at the Cavalry and Guards Club, 127 Piccadilly, London W1.
