The Rt Hon Alistair Carmichael MP was received by The Queen today when he delivered up his Wand of Office upon relinquishing his appointment as Comptroller of the Household.

The Rt Hon Donald Foster MP was received by The Queen upon his appointment as Comptroller of the Household when Her Majesty handed to him his Wand of Office.

The Rt Hon William Hague MP (Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was received in audience by The Queen this afternoon.

The Prince of Wales, Admiral, this morning received Captain Matthew Briers RN upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer Commando Helicopter Force and Captain Niall Griffin RN upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Dragoon Guards, received Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Bateman upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer.

The Prince of Wales, Colonel-in-Chief, The Parachute Regiment, received Lieutenant Colonel Adam Dawson upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer 2nd Battalion and Lieutenant Colonel Oliver Kingsbury upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness this afternoon held a Reception for Sustainable Food Trust at Clarence House.

The Prince of Wales later attended a Prince’s Charities’ International Sustainability Unit Meeting at the Royal College of Surgeons, 35-43 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London WC2.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the “Australia” Exhibition, and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening viewed the exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1, and subsequently attended a Reception and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Emmaus UK, this afternoon visited Emmaus Hastings and Rother and officially opened Charlie Jordan House, Whitworth Road, St. Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this evening attended the Royal Film Performance of “Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom” in aid of the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund and the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund at the Odeon Cinema, Leicester Square, London WC2.

The Duke of York, Patron, the Peter Jones Foundation, this morning met Tycoon in Schools teams from the area at Queen Anne’s School, Henley Road, Caversham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (the Hon Mrs Bayliss).

His Royal Highness, Patron, International Space Innovation Centre, afterwards attended the Appleton Space Conference at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Harwell Oxford, Didcot, and was received by Mr John Harwood (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).

The Duke of York this afternoon visited Resurgo Trust at St Paul’s Centre, Queen Caroline Street, London W6.

His Royal Highness later held a Mentoring Session and Reception for Entrepreneur First at Buckingham Palace.
