COURT CIRCULAR
Buckingham Palace
His Excellency Dr Armen Sarkissian was received in audience by The Queen today and presented his Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Armenia to the Court of St James’s.
Mrs Sarkissian was also received by Her Majesty.
His Excellency Mr Kyaw Zwar Minn was received in audience by The Queen this afternoon and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Court of St James’s.
Mrs Minn Myat was also received by Her Majesty.
Sir Simon Fraser (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.
Lady Morrison was received by The Queen and delivered up the Badge and Star of the Order of the Thistle worn by her husband, the late Sir Garth Morrison.
Mr Alastair Morrison, son of Sir Garth and Lady Morrison, was also received by Her Majesty.
The Queen held a Council at 5.30pm.
There were present: the Rt Hon Nicholas Clegg MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon Vincent Cable MP (Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills), the Lord Hill of Oareford (Leader of the House of Lords and Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster) and the Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP (Secretary of State for Health).
The Rt Hon Alan Campbell MP, the Rt Hon Gregory Hands MP, the Lord Newby, the Rt Hon Michael Penning MP and the Lord Tyler were sworn in as members of Her Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council.
At the Council, The Queen, pricked the List of High Sheriffs for the Counties of England (other than Cornwall and those in the Duchy of Lancaster) and Wales.
Mr Richard Tilbrook (Clerk of the Council) and Ms Ceri King (Deputy Clerk) were in attendance.
After the Council, the Lord Hill of Oareford had an audience of The Queen when Her Majesty pricked the List of High Sheriffs for the Counties of the Duchy of Lancaster.
Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.
The Rt Hon Nicholas Clegg MP had an audience of The Queen before the Council.
The Rt Hon David Cameron MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of Her Majesty this evening.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, today attended Receptions at St James’s Palace for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
His Royal Highness, Patron, Plan UK, this afternoon gave a Luncheon at Buckingham Palace.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Freeman and Liveryman, the Worshipful Company of Fishmongers, this evening attended a Livery Dinner at Fishmongers’ Hall, London Bridge, London EC4.

His Royal Highness later received Mr Tim Sherwood (Chairman of the Board, Satellite Applications Catapult).
The Duke of York this evening attended a screening of “Behind the Palace Gates”, produced by Hackney University Technical College, at Downstairs at Mother, Biscuit Building, 10 Redchurch Street, London E2.
His Royal Highness, Patron, this evening held a Dinner for The Duke of York’s Community Initiative.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this morning visited the Bustamante Museum, 24 Tucker Avenue, Kingston, Jamaica.
Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited the Jamaica Defence Force Training Camp, Newcastle, Blue Mountain National Park.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex later visited the Old Tavern Coffee Estate, Blue Mountain National Park.
Their Royal Highnesses this evening departed from Norman Manley International Airport, Jamaica, for the United Kingdom.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the War Horse Ride 2014, this evening attended a Reception at the Cavalry and Guards Club, 127 Piccadilly, London W1.
