Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr Euripides Evriviades was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Cyprus in London.

Mrs Anastasia Iacovidou-Evriviades was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Paul Zoumanigui was received in audience by The Queen this afternoon and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Guinea to the Court of St James’s.

Mr Matthew Rycroft (Chief Operating Officer of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office) was present.

The Queen, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys), received Colonel Jonathan Bartholomew upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant-Colonel Benjamin Cattermole upon assuming the appointment.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, this morning visited the Keeper’s House at the Royal Academy of Arts, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Marine Biological Association of the United Kingdom, this evening attended a Reception at Fishmongers’ Hall, London Bridge, London EC4.

The Prince of Wales this morning received Sir Thomas John Parker (President, Royal Academy of Engineering), Mr Philip Greenish (Chief Executive), Mr Steven Holliday (Vice Chairman, Business in the Community, and Chief Executive, National Grid Group) and Mrs Martina Milburn (Chief Executive, The Prince’s Trust).

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Medical Detection Dogs, later viewed a presentation at St. James’s Palace and subsequently gave a Reception at Clarence House.

The Prince of Wales, Vice Patron, this afternoon attended a Reception to mark the Eightieth Anniversary of the British Council at the British Council, Spring Gardens, London SW1.

His Royal Highness later received the Rt. Hon. Sir Lockwood Smith (High Commissioner for New Zealand).

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Reception for High Commissioners given by the Royal Commonwealth Society at St James’s Palace.

The Duke of York this morning visited Kainos Software Limited, Upper Crescent, Belfast, Country Antrim.

His Royal Highness later attended the Launch of Belfast Telegraph’s 50 Jobs in 50 Days Campaign, Belfast Telegraph, 124-144 Royal Avenue, Belfast.

The Duke of York this afternoon visited Northern Ireland Science Park, the Innovation Centre, Queen’s Road, Queen’s Island, Belfast.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, England Hockey, today visited the teams at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre, Bisham Village, Marlow Road, Bisham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (the Hon. Mrs Bayliss).

The Princess Royal, Member, International Olympic Committee, and President, British Olympic Association, this morning attended a National Olympic Committees Meeting at 60 Charlotte Street, London W1.

Her Royal Highness, Court Member, the Fishmongers’ Company, this afternoon received Major General Colin Boag (Clerk) and Mr. Peter Woodward (Assistant Clerk).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Grand Prior, the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, this morning received Mr Palmer Hamilton (Prior Designate of the Priory in the United States of America).

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent the morning visited the Bishop’s Palace Project at Minster Yard, Nettleham, Lincoln, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire (Mr. Anthony Worth).

His Royal Highness later opened the new wing of the University of Lincoln at Brayford Pool, Lincoln.

The Duke of Kent this afternoon visited Lincoln Cathedral.
