Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Irish Regiment (27th (Inniskilling), 83rd, 87th and The Ulster Defence Regiment), today visited the 1st Battalion and took the salute at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade at Clive Barracks, Tern Hill, Market Drayton, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire (Sir Algernon Heber-Percy).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon attended the International Rugby Match between Wales and Scotland at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Dr. Peter Beck).
