The Earl of Home was received by The Queen this afternoon when Her Majesty conferred upon him the honour of Knighthood and invested him with the Insignia of a Knight of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning opened Chelsea Children’s Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, 369 Fulham Road, London SW10, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Confederation of Service Charities, this afternoon received Air Vice Marshal Anthony Stables upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Lieutenant General Sir Andrew Ridgway upon assuming the appointment.

The Prince of Wales received the Hon. Jason Kenney MP (Minister of Employment and Social Development and for Multiculturalism, Canada).

His Royal Highness received Dr Bradnee Chambers (Executive Secretary, Convention on Migratory Species), Mr Stanley Johnson (Ambassador, Convention on Migratory Species) and Mr Leo Johnson (Co-Founder, Sustainable Finance Limited).

His Royal Highness this afternoon held a Lunch at Buckingham Palace to mark England’s participation in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
