The Lady Kingsdown was received by The Queen and delivered up the Insignia of the Order of the Garter worn by her husband, the late Lord Kingsdown.
The Hon. James Leigh-Pemberton was also received by Her Majesty.
The following were received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon their appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassadors: Mr. Ian Hughes (the Republic of South Sudan), Mr. Asif Ahmad (the Republic of the Philippines) and Mr. David Moran (the Swiss Confederation).

His Royal Highness later received Mr. Michael Day (Chief Executive, Historic Royal Palaces) and Mr. John Barnes (Conservation and Learning Director).
The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Teaching Institute, this evening held a Reception at St. James’s Palace.
The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, this morning visited the National Literacy Trust’s “Words for Work” programme at the City Academy, Hackney, Homerton Row, London E9, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).
