Buckingham Palace
The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, this morning officially opened the new premises of Rambert at 99 Upper Ground, London SE1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer), the Chairman (Sir Howard Panter) and Ms. Nadia Stern (Chief Executive).
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness, escorted respectively by the Chief Executive and the Chairman, toured the building, viewing archive items and meeting dancers and staff, before viewing two, separate rehearsals.
The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Princess Royal, former Director, London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, this morning received Mr. Boris Johnson (Mayor of London) and Mr. Neale Cole- man (Deputy Chairman, London Legacy Development Corporation).
Her Royal Highness, Court Assistant, the Fishmongers’ Company, later attended the Four Hundredth Whitgift Foundation Founder’s Day Service at Croydon Minster, followed by a Luncheon at the Old Palace of John Whit- gift School, Old Palace Road, Croydon, Surrey, and was re- ceived by Colonel Ian McRobbie (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Richard III Society, and The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon visited the “Richard III, Duke of Gloucester” Exhibition and attended a Lecture entitled “Richard III, Tyrant or Accidental King?” at Gloucester City Museum and Art Gallery, Brunswick Road, Gloucester, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
