The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Dame Sarah Goad (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Sir Richard Thornton (formerly Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey) which was held in the Memorial Chapel, Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, this afternoon.

The Duke of Kent was represented by Mr. Timothy Goad.

Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy was represented by Lieutenant Colonel Gordon Birdwood.
