Windsor Castle

Her Excellency Mrs Penelope Wensley was received in audience by The Queen today upon relinquishing her appointment as Governor of Queensland.

Mr Stuart McCosker was also received by Her Majesty.

The following were received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon their appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassadors: Mr Ian Whiting (Montenegro) and Mr David Ward (the State of Eritrea).

Mrs Tracy Gallagher was also received by Her Majesty.

The following were received in audience by The Queen upon their appointment as British High Commissioners: Mr Howard Drake (Canada) and Mr David Campbell (Brunei Darussalam).

Mrs Drake was also received by Her Majesty.

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this morning visited the Royal New Zealand Police College, Porirua, New Zealand.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited Civic Square, Wellington.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon departed from New Zealand for Australia and were received later upon arrival at Sydney (Kingsford-Smith) Airport by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia (Sir Peter Cosgrave).

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards attended a Reception given by the Governor of New South Wales (Ms Marie Bashir) at Sydney Opera House.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Corps of Signals, this morning visited 15th Signal Regiment (Information Support) at Blandford Camp, Blandford Forum, Dorset.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Patron, London Philharmonic Orchestra, this evening attended a Concert at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank Centre, Belvedere Road, London SE1.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park

Princess Alexandra this afternoon opened the relocated Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit, Hospital of St. Cross, Barby Road, Rugby, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Warwickshire (Mr. Timothy Cox).
