Clarence House

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning received the Rt. Hon. Owen Paterson MP (Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs), at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire.

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Red Squirrel Survival Trust, this afternoon held a Reception at Dumfries House.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, the Great Steward of Scotland’s Dumfries House Trust, this evening held a Dinner at Dumfries House.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Patron, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, this morning received Professor Timothy Briggs (Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon) and Mr. Michael Thompson (Chairman, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Redevelopment Appeal).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Jubilee Sailing Trust, this afternoon held a Luncheon at Buckingham Palace.

The Duke of York later received Mr. Doug Richard (Founder, School for Start Ups).

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Royal Honorary Colonel, The Royal Wessex Yeomanry, this morning visited the Apprentice Academy, Superior Seals Limited, Nimrod Way, Ferndown, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset (Mr. Angus Campbell).

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this afternoon viewed the restoration of Milton Abbey in the grounds of Milton Abbey School, Milton Abbas, Dorset.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited the Safety Centre, Radipole Lane, Weymouth, Dorset, and subsequently attended a Reception for “the Best of Wessex”.

The Countess of Wessex this morning re-opened the Lewis Manning Hospice, 1 Crichel Mount Road, Lilliput, Poole, and was received by Mrs. Jacqueline Swift (Deputy Lieutenant of Dorset).

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, this morning unveiled a memorial to the Royal Army Veterinary Corps at the National Memorial Arboretum, Croxall Road, Alrewas, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Mr. Ian Dudson).

Her Royal Highness, Royal Patron, HF Trust Limited, this afternoon opened the Supported Living Apartments at 9 Weir Road, Kibworth, followed by a Reception at Central Office, 14 Nursery Court, Kibworth Business Park, Harborough Road, Kibworth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire (Jennifer, Lady Gretton).
