COURT CIRCULAR
Buckingham Palace
The Queen, as Sovereign of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, and The Prince of Wales, as Great Master, this morning attended a Service of the Order in Westminster Abbey, and were present at the Installation of Knights of the Most Honourable Order, which took place in King Henry VII’s Chapel, the Chapel of the Order.
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness were received at the Great West Door by the Dean and the Chapter of Westminster.
The following Officers of the Order were on duty: the Dean (the Very Reverend Dr. John Hall), Bath King of Arms (Admiral the Lord Boyce), the Registrar and Secretary (Rear Admiral Iain Henderson), the Genealogist (Mr. Thomas Woodcock), Gentlemen Usher of the Scarlet Rod (Major General Charles Vyvyan), and the Deputy Secretary (Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Matheson of Matheson, younger).
Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms and The Queen’s Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.
The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited QUEEN MARY 2 at Ocean Terminal, Associated British Ports, Southampton, to mark her Tenth Anniversary, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Dame Mary Fagan).

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, the Nuffield Orthopædic Centre, this morning visited the Botnar Research Centre, Windmill Road, Oxford, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Oxfordshire (Mr. Timothy Stevenson).
Her Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon visited Helen and Douglas House, 14A Magdalen Road, Oxford.

The Duke of York, Honorary Air Commodore, this morning visited Royal Air Force Lossiemouth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Moray (Lieutenant Colonel Grenville Johnston).
His Royal Highness this afternoon opened Covesea Community Lighthouse, Moray.
The Duke of York, Honorary Air Commodore, afterwards attended a Lunch at Royal Air Force Lossiemouth.
His Royal Highness later visited Gordonstoun School, Elgin, Moray.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, today attended a Trustees’ Meeting at Award House, 7-11 St. Matthew Street, London SW1.
The Countess of Wessex, Patron, the Craft Guild of Chefs, this morning held a Meeting.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Royal Three Counties Show, today attended the Royal Horticultural Society’s Malvern Spring Festival at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire (Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Holcroft).
