The Duke of Cambridge, Commodore-in-Chief, Submarines, and Patron, HMS ALLIANCE Conservation Appeal, today attended a Royal Rededication of HMS ALLIANCE at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum, Gosport, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Dame Mary Fagan).

The Duke of York, Fellow, this afternoon held a Lunch for University Research Fellows of the Royal Society at Buckingham Palace.
His Royal Highness later received Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman (His Excellency Mr. James Bowden).
The Duke of York, Royal Bencher, the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, later received the Lord Grabiner upon relinquishing his appointment as Treasurer and Mr. Geoffrey Jaques upon assuming the appointment.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this morning visited St. George’s Bristol, Great George Street, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol (Mrs. John Prior).
Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited Aardman Animations, Gas Ferry Road, Bristol.
The Earl of Wessex, Royal Honorary Colonel, Royal Wessex Yeomanry, and The Countess of Wessex this afternoon attended the Reserve Forces’ and Cadets’ Associations Lunch at the Society of Merchant Venturers’ Hall, the Promenade, Bristol.
Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited Bath Abbey and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Lady Gass).
The Earl and Countess of Wessex later visited the Roman Baths, Stall Street, Bath, and opened the renovated Temple Precinct.
Their Royal Highnesses subsequently attended a Reception at the Pump Rooms, Stall Street.

The Princess Royal this morning presented The Queen’s Colour to the No. 1 School of Technical Training, Royal Air Force Cosford, Wolverhampton, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Shropshire (Sir Algernon Heber-Percy).
Her Royal Highness, Patron, Transaid, this afternoon opened the new Bibby Distribution Site, Unit 1, Max Park, Bangrave Road, Corby, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Northamptonshire (the Lady Juliet Townsend).
