Buckingham Palace
The Governor-General of Solomon Islands and Lady Kabui were received by The Queen today.
The Lord Smith of Kelvin was received by The Queen when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Knight of the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle.
The following were received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon their appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassadors: Mr Peter Millett (the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan), Mr Ian Cliff (the Republic of Kosovo), Mrs Katherine Leach (the Republic of Armenia) and Mr Patrick Mullee (the Republic of Ecuador).
Mrs Cliff was also received by Her Majesty.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace.
Princess Beatrice of York, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent were present.
Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The Queen’s Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.
The Bands of the Royal Armoured Corps and the Royal Air Force Squadronaires played selections of music during the afternoon.
The Rt Hon David Cameron MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.
The Duke of Edinburgh today officially opened the Margaret Pyke Centre, Wicklow Street, London WC1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).
His Royal Highness, Patron, the Honourable Company of Air Pilots, this evening attended a Livery Dinner at Mansion House, London EC4.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited Stevenson Hangar, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and were received by the Rt Hon Stephen Harper MP (Prime Minister of Canada).
Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited the Pavilion Gallery Museum, Assiniboine Park, Winnipeg, and were received by the Hon Gregory Selinger (Premier of Manitoba).
The Prince of Wales today visited the Journey to Churchill Facility, Winnipeg.
His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Place Bernadette Poirier, Winnipeg.
The Prince of Wales later visited Assent Works, Winnipeg.
His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Meeting with supporters of The Prince’s Seeing is Believing Programme at Red River College, Winnipeg.
The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Foundation for Building Community, subsequently attended a Meeting on Sustainable Urban Development at Red River College.
His Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, later received representatives from the Royal Winnipeg Rifles and the Air Reserve of Canada at the Fairmont Winnipeg Hotel.
The Prince of Wales, Honorary Commissioner, afterwards received representatives from The Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
His Royal Highness this evening received the Prime Minister of Canada.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall later held an Investiture at the Manitoba Legislature, Winnipeg, and were received by the Premier of Manitoba.
The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.
Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the Assiniboine Credit Union, Manitoba.
The Duchess of Cornwall, Colonel-in-Chief, this evening received representatives from The Queen’s Own Rifles of Canada at the Fairmont Winnipeg Hotel.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall later departed Canadian Forces Base Winnipeg for the United Kingdom.

The Duke of York this morning attended a Meeting with representatives of British industry in Kuwait City.
His Royal Highness later departed Kuwait International Airport.

The Earl of Wessex, Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, and The Countess of Wessex this morning attended the General Assembly at Assembly Hall, Mound Place, Edinburgh.
His Royal Highness, Lord High Commissioner to the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, and Her Royal Highness afterwards carried out the following engagements in Moray and Banffshire.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex today opened the Ogstoun Drama and Dance Centre at Gordonstsoun School, Elgin, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Moray (Lieutenant Colonel Grenville Johnston).
Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon opened the Cancer Link Aberdeen and North Cancer Support Centre, 227 High Street, Elgin.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex later visited Buckie High School, West Cathcart Street, Buckie, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Banffshire (Mrs Oliver Russell).
Their Royal Highnesses this evening gave a Dinner at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester this evening attended a Regimental Dinner in support of the Army Benevolent Fund the Soldiers’ Charity at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London SW3.
The Duchess of Gloucester, Patron, Medical Women’s Federation, today received Dr. Fiona Cornish upon relinquishing her appointment as President and Dr. Sally Davies upon assuming the appointment.

Princess Alexandra, Patron and Air Chief Commandant, Princess Mary’s Royal Air Force Nursing Service, and Patron, Queen Alexandra’s Royal Naval Nursing Service, today attended a Reception at the Royal Air Force Club, 128 Piccadilly, London W1.
