The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games Uniform and Accreditation Centre, Kelvin Hall, 1445 Argyle Street, Glasgow, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow (Councillor Sadie Docherty, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost), the General Manager of Accreditation Arrivals and Departures (Mr Adrian Wood) and the General Manager of Uniforms (Ms Susan Norris).
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness toured the Centre, viewing operations procedures and meeting volunteers and members of staff.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon visited the Emirates Arena and Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, 1000 London Road, Glasgow, and were received by the Chief Executive of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games Organising Committee (Mr David Grevemberg).
Her Majesty, escorted by Mr Kim Stanton (Venue Manager, Emirates Arena), and His Royal Highness, escorted by Mr Jonathan Shaw (General Manager), viewed the Scotland cycling team using the Velodrome, the Badminton Arena, and met members of staff and apprentices.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were subsequently entertained to Luncheon by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, accompanied by The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, the Great Steward of Scotland’s Dumfries House Trust, and The Duchess of Rothesay, later visited Dumfries House, Cumnock, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Ayrshire and Arran (Mr John Duncan) and Sir Brian Ivory (Chairman of Trustees of the Trust).
The Queen and The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, escorted by Mrs Fiona Lees (Trustee), toured the Belling Hospitality Centre kitchen and met students.
The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchess of Rothesay met stonemasonry and wood carving students at the Traditional Skills Training Centre.
Her Majesty and Their Royal Highnesses afterwards viewed The Queen Elizabeth Garden, meeting designers, gardeners and volunteers.
The Queen unveiled a commemorative sundial to open the Garden and, with The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay and The Duchess of Rothesay, subsequently attended a Reception.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, the Great Steward of Scotland’s Dumfries House Trust, and The Duchess of Rothesay this afternoon gave a Reception for donors and supporters at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire.
Buckingham Palace
The Earl of Wessex, Chancellor, University of Bath, today presented degrees at Bath Abbey.
The Countess of Wessex, Patron, this morning opened the Children’s Cardiology Ward at Leeds Children’s Hospital, Great George Street, Leeds, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Dr Ingrid Roscoe).
Her Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon visited Caring for Life, Crag House Farm, Otley Old Road, Cookridge, West Yorkshire.
Buckingham Palace
The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Logistic Corps, this morning received Lieutenant General Mark Poffley (Master General of Logistics) at St James’s Palace.
Her Royal Highness, Warden, afterwards attended Gordonstoun School’s Eightieth Anniversary Reception onboard OCEAN SPIRIT OF MORAY in St Katharine Docks, 50 St Katharine’s Way, London E1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).
The Princess Royal, Patron, Riders for Health, this afternoon held a Reception at Buckingham Palace.
Her Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of the Highlands and Islands, later received Professor Clive Mulholland at Buckingham Palace upon assuming his appointment as Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University.
The Princess Royal, Royal Fellow, the Royal Academy of Engineering, this evening attended the Annual Awards Dinner at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London WC2.

The Duchess of Gloucester, President, Royal Academy of Music, this morning attended Part I of the Graduation Ceremony in St. Marylebone Parish Church, Marylebone Road, London NW1.
Her Royal Highness, Patron, Friends of St. Paul’s Cathedral, this afternoon attended the Annual Festival Service in the Cathedral, London EC4.

The Duke of Kent, President, All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, today attended the Lawn Tennis Championships at Church Road, Wimbledon, London SW19.
