Professor John Cunningham was received by The Queen this evening upon his retirement as Head of the Medical Household and Physician to The Queen when Her Majesty conferred upon him the honour of Knighthood and invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Reception at the Almonry Barn, Muchelney, Somerset, for members of the local rural community who suffered from the recent flooding and representatives from the agencies and charities who supported them, and was received by Mr David Medlock (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset).
The Prince of Wales, Patron, English Tourism Week, later attended a Meeting with representatives from First Great West Trains and Visit England travelling from Castle Cary Railway Station, Somerset.
The Prince of Wales, President, Business in the Community, and The Duke of Cambridge, with Prince Henry of Wales, this evening attended the Annual Responsible Business Awards at the Royal Albert Hall, London SW7, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).
The Duchess of Rothesay, Chancellor, the University of Aberdeen, this afternoon opened Aberdeen Sports Village Aquatics Centre, Regent Walk, Aberdeen, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Aberdeen (Councillor George Adam, the Lord Provost).
Her Royal Highness, Chancellor, the University of Aberdeen, afterwards attended a graduation ceremony at King’s College, Aberdeen.
