Buckingham Palace

Dame Cecile La Grenade was received in audience by The Queen today upon her appointment as Governor-General of Grenada.

Sir Stuart Hampson (First Crown Estate Commissioner and Chairman, the Crown Estate) was received by Her Majesty.

Ms Alison Nimmo (Chief Executive, the Crown Estate) was also received by The Queen.

Her Majesty received the Bishop of Leeds (the Right Reverend Nicholas Baines) who did homage upon his appointment.

The Rt Hon Christopher Grayling MP (Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice) administered the Oath.

The Right Reverend Dr Christopher Hill (Clerk of the Closet) was in attendance.

The following members of Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms were received by The Queen: Major Jeremy Warren who delivered up his Stick of Office upon his retirement as Lieutenant, Colonel Robin Broke who delivered up his Stick of Office upon relinquishing his appointment as Clerk of the Cheque and Adjutant and received his Stick of Office upon his appointment as Lieutenant, Colonel Timothy Purdon who received his Stick of Office upon his appointment as Clerk of the Cheque and Adjutant, and Major General Jonathan Hall who delivered up his Stick of Office upon his retirement as Standard Bearer of Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms.

The Rt Hon David Cameron MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, the British-Australia Society, this morning attended a Service to dedicate a memorial to Admiral Arthur Phillip in Westminster Abbey, London SW1.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, former President, and The Duke of Cambridge, President, the British Sub-Aqua Club, this morning attended a Reception at the Oasis Sports Centre, 32 Endell Street, London WC2, and were received by Wing Commander Michael Dudgeon (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).

His Royal Highness this afternoon received Mrs. Amanda Sherrington (President and Chief Executive Officer, The Prince’s Charities Canada).

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts, this afternoon attended the Annual Degree Show at 19-22 Charlotte Road, Shoreditch, London EC2.

His Royal Highness this evening held a Reception at Clarence House for the College of Medicine.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge and Prince Henry of Wales this afternoon held a Reception to launch The Queen’s Young Leaders Programme at Buckingham Palace.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Patron, Sport and Recreation Alliance, this morning attended the Annual General Meeting at St James’s Palace.

His Royal Highness, Patron, London Gardens Society, this afternoon toured the winning gardens in Stepney and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer), in Hackney and was received by Lieutenant Colonel Roderick Morris (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) and in Islington and was received by Dr Charles Goodson-Wickes (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Earl of Wessex, Vice Patron, Commonwealth Games Federation, this evening attended a Reception at The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace, to celebrate the departure of Team England to the 2014 Games in Glasgow.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Sport and Recreation Alliance, afterwards held a Dinner at Buckingham Palace.

The Countess of Wessex this morning visited St. Joseph’s Specialist School and College, Amlets Lane, Cranleigh, and was received by Mrs Diana Prain (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened the new Sensory Technology Room at Holy Cross Hospital, Hindhead Road, Haslemere, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Dame Sarah Goad).

The Countess of Wessex later opened the Riverhill Regeneration Project and afterwards visited the Tilt Park, Cobham, Surrey.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning attended the Great Yorkshire Show, Harrogate, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of North Yorkshire (the Lord Crathorne).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened the new premises at Brandon Medical Company Limited, Elmfield Road, Morley, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Dr. Ingrid Roscoe).

Kensington Palace

The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon visited Saffron Green Primary School, Nicoll Way, Borehamwood, to mark the Sixtieth Anniversary and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire (the Countess of Verulam).

Her Royal Highness afterwards opened Cecil Rosen Court, Bushey Heath, for Jewish Blind and Disabled and was received by Mr. Richard Beazley (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire).

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Honorary Air Commodore, this morning visited Royal Air Force Leuchars, Fife.
