The Princess Royal, President, Royal Yachting Association, this morning visited South Staffordshire Sailing Club, Gailey Lower Pool, Gailey Lea Lane, near Penkridge, on the occasion of its Sixtieth Anniversary and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Mr Ian Dudson).

The Duke of Kent, Patron, Kent County Agricultural Society, this afternoon visited Kent County Agricultural Show in Detling before officially opening Maidstone Exhibition Hall on the ground and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Kent (the Viscout De L’Isle).

Princess Alexandra this afternoon visited the Police Mutual Assurance Society’s Headquarters at Alexandra House, Queen Street, Lichfield, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Mr. Ian Dudson).

Her Royal Highness afterwards opened the Day Hospice and visited the Day Therapies Centre and Compassus Centre at St. Giles Hospice, Fisherwick Road, Whittington, Staffordshire.
