Buckingham Palace

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this evening gave a Reception for the winners of The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise at Buckingham Palace.

The Duke of York, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent and Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy, were present.

By command of Her Majesty, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Fakhraddin Isa Oglu Gurbanov at 4 Kensington Court, London W8, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Court of St James’s.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning met members of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in Looe and visited businesses affected by the flooding of winter and spring 2014 and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Edward Bolitho).

The Duchess of Cornwall today visited Cornish Orchards and opened the new Cider Cellar, Westnorth Manor Farm, Duloe, Liskeard, Cornwall.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Twentieth Anniversary Reception at Trewithen Dairy, Greymare Farm, Lostwithiel, Cornwall.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge, President, United for Wildlife, and Prince Henry of Wales this afternoon attended a Cricket Match in support of United for Wildlife in the Home Park, Windsor Castle.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, President, the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, this afternoon opened Arrow Vale Academy, Green Sward Lane, Matchborough West, Redditch, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire (Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Holcroft).

Her Royal Highness, President, the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, later opened Ipsley Academy, Winyates Way, Winyates, Redditch.

The Princess Royal, President, Carers Trust, this evening attended a Charity Race Dinner at the Royal Windsor Racecourse, Maidenhead Road, Windsor, and was received by Mr James Puxley (Deputy Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Anglian Regiment, this afternoon received Lieutenant Colonel Nigel Johnson upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Oliver Brown upon assuming the appointment.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, President of the Board of Trustees, Imperial War Museum, this morning visited the Museum’s new galleries at Lambeth Road, London SE1.
