Balmoral Castle

The Rt Hon Alex Salmond MSP (First Minister of the Scottish Executive) and Mrs Salmond have arrived at the Castle.

The Rt Hon Alex Salmond MSP was received in audience by The Queen this evening.

By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Pasan Teparak at 29-30 Queen’s Gate, London SW7, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Kingdom of Thailand to the Court of St James’s.

By command of Her Majesty, the Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps called upon His Excellency Mr Vu Quang Minh at 12-14 Victoria Road, London W8, today in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Court of St James’s.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Battle of Britain Fighter Association, and The Duchess of Cornwall were represented by Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton (Vice President, the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust) at the Funeral Service for Wing Commander Robert Foster (previously Chairman, the Battle of Britain Fighter Association, Life Vice-President, the Battle of Britain Memorial Trust and Battle of Britain veteran) which was held at Hastings Crematorium, the Ridge, Hastings, East Sussex, this afternoon.
