Divine Service was held in Crathie Parish Church this morning.

The Right Reverend John Chalmers (Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland) preached the Sermon.

The Rt. Hon. David Cameron MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) and Mrs. Cameron have left the Castle.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Colonel-in-Chief, this afternoon presented medals for Operational Service in Afghanistan to members of 9th/12th Royal Lancers (Prince of Wales’s) at Le Montcel and Fretoy, Seine-et-Marne, France.

His Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, 9th/12th Royal Lancers (Prince of Wales’s), afterwards attended the Commemoration to mark the Centenary of the Battle of Montcel, Le Montcel and Fretoy, and laid wreaths at the French War Memorial and the Battlefield War Memorial.

Lieutenant Jack Cooper RN was in attendance.
