By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Julio Moreira Moran at 150 Brompton Road, London SW3, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Oriental Republic of Uruguay to the Court of St James’s.

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon visited Namgis First Nation, Alert Bay, British Columbia.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex later undertook an Ecological Tour by Boat at Sonora Resort, British Columbia.
Their Royal Highnesses this evening attended a Dinner at Sonora Resort.

The Princess Royal this morning attended the “Going Forward: Education Research and the Horse Industry in the Twenty First Century” Conference to open the School of Equine Management and Science at the Royal Agricultural University, Stroud Road, Cirencester, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
Her Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of the Highlands and Islands, this evening attend a Reception at Shetland Museum and Archives, Hay’s Dock, Lerwick, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Shetland (Mr Robert Hunter).
