The Duke of Cambridge this morning attended a Service of Holy Communion in St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta, Malta, to mark Independence Day.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited St John’s Co-Cathedral Museum.

The Duke of Cambridge this afternoon visited the Access Centre, Birgu.

His Royal Highness afterwards viewed a Gozitan Folkloric performance in Birgu Square and subsequently visited St Lawrence Church.

The Duke of Cambridge later travelled across Grand Harbour by boat from Birgu to Valletta.

His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Garden Party given by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Malta (His Excellency Mr Robert Luke) at the Residence.

The Duke of Cambridge this evening arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Malta.

Sir David Manning, Miss Rebecca Deacon and Dr Edward Perkins were in attendance.
