The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall were present at the Funeral of the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire which was held in Saint Peter’s Church, Edensor, Bakewell, Derbyshire, today.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, this evening attended a Reception for the River Dee Trust, the Marcliffe Hotel, North Deeside Road, Pitfodels, Aberdeen.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning visited Barking and Dagenham College, Dagenham Road, Romford, Essex, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

His Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon visited the Centre for Engineering and Manufacturing Excellence, Marsh Way, Rainham, Essex, followed by a Working Lunch with Industry Leaders in manufacturing and research.

The Earl of Wessex this morning received Mr Mogoeng Mogoeng (Chief Justice of the Republic of South Africa).

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Royal Wolverhampton School, this afternoon held a Meeting.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, the Wallace Collection, this evening attended a Dinner and afterwards re-opened the Great Gallery at Hertford House, Manchester Square, London W1.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Vine Trust, today carried out engagements in Tanzania.

Her Royal Highness this morning visited Juma Island, Lake Victoria, and launched the Jubilee Hope Medical Project on board MV Jubilee Hope, North Pier, Mwanza Port, Mwanza.

The Princess Royal this afternoon attended a Reception on board MVVictoria, North Pier, Mwanza Port.

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the Vine Trust’s Family Homebuilding Project in Dipu sub-village, Kwasadala Village, Hai District, Kilimanjaro.

The Princess Royal later opened the Kimashuku Children’s Centre, Himo Road, Moshi, Kilimanjaro.

Her Royal Highness subsequently visited Rafiki School, Himo Road, Moshi.

The Princess Royal this evening departed from Kilimanjaro Airport for the United Kingdom.

Her Royal Highness was represented by Brigadier Andrew Parker-Bowles at the Funeral of the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire in St Peter’s Church, Edensor, Bakewell, Derbeyshire, today.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park

Princess Alexandra, Patron, the People’s Dispensary for Sick Animals, this afternoon attended a Reception at Highclere Castle, near Newbury, Berkshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson).

Her Royal Highness was represented by Lieutenant Colonel Gordon Birdwood at the Funeral of the Dowager Duchess of Devonshire which was held in St. Peter’s Church, Edensor, Bakewell, Derbyshire, today.
