The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, and The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this morning departed from Farnborough Airport, Hampshire, for Italy and were received upon arrival this afternoon by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Holy See (His Excellency Mr. Nigel Baker).

Their Royal Highnesses later attended a Reception at Valentino Haute Couture Headquarters, Via dei Condotti, Rome.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex this evening attended a Dinner at Circolo della Caccia, Palazza Borghese, Rome.

The Duke of Kent this morning visited Chichester Harbour Conservancy, Itchenor, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Sussex (Mrs. Susan Pyper). His Royal Highness this afternoon visited South Downs National Park Authority, South Downs Centre, North Street, Midhurst, West Sussex.
