COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were present this evening at the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke of York, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy and Prince Michael of Kent were also present.

The Queen was represented by Mr Hugh Duberly (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire) at the Memorial Service for Dr Frederick Sanger OM which was held in St. John’s College Chapel, Cambridge, today.

The Duke of Edinburgh was represented by Sir Gregory Winter.

The Duke of York was represented by Professor Sir Michael Stratton.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by the Very Reverend John Cairns (formerly Dean of the Chapel Royal in Scotland) at the Memorial Service for the Very Reverend Professor Robert Barbour (formerly Dean of the Chapel Royal in Scotland) which was held in Dunkeld Cathedral, Perthshire, this afternoon.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were represented by the Very Reverend Dr. James Harkness.

Clarence House

The President of the Republic of Colombia this afternoon visited The Prince of Wales.

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this morning visited the Valero Pembroke Refinery, Pembroke, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed (the Hon Robin Lewis).

His Royal Highness, Vice Patron, Welsh Rugby Union, and Her Royal Highness this afternoon attended the International Rugby Match between Wales and Australia at the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Dr Peter Beck).

Kensington Palace

Prince Henry of Wales, Vice Patron, Rugby Football Union, this afternoon attended the International Rugby Football Match between England and New Zealand at Twickenham Stadium, Middlesex, and, as Patron, met members of the Rugby Football Union Injured Players Foundation.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Australia.

Mr Timothy Roberts was in attendance.
