Buckingham Palace
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this morning arrived at Elgin Railway Station and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Moray (Lieutenant Colonel Grenville Johnston).
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness drove to Royal Air Force Lossiemouth and were received by Major General the Hon. Seymour Monro (Deputy Lieutenant of Moray), the Station Commander (Group Captain Mark Chappell) and Wing Commander Chantal Baker (Commanding Officer Base Support Wing).
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were received with a Royal Salute and inspected the Guard of Honour.
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness viewed Typhoon aircraft and met on-duty personnel before attending a Reception for Service personnel and their families in the Officers’ Mess.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh subsequently witnessed a fly-past by a Tornado and two Typhoon aircraft.
Her Majesty, Colonel-in-Chief, Corps of Royal Engineers, and His Royal Highness this afternoon visited 39 Engineer Regiment at Kinloss Barracks, Forres, and were received by Mr James Royan (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Moray) and the Commanding Officer (Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Marsden).
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh inspected a Guard of Honour.
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness met families and soldiers and were entertained to Luncheon by the Commanding Officer.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by The Prince of Wales, accompanied by The Duchess of Cornwall, at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of the Lady Soames LG which was held in Westminster Abbey, London SW1, today.
The Duke of York was represented by the Lord Luce KG.
The Earl and Countess of Wessex were represented by Sir Timothy Colman KG.
The Princess Royal was represented by Brigadier Andrew Parker Bowles.
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were represented by the Lord Carrington KG.
The Duke and Duchess of Kent were represented by Mr Nicholas Marden.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Sir Nigel Sherlock (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear) at the Memorial Service for Sir Ralph Carr-Ellison (formerly Her Majesty’ s Lord-Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear) which was held in the Cathedral Church of St Nicholas, Newcastle upon Tyne, this afternoon.
The Prince of Wales was represented by the Duchess of Northumberland.
The Duke of York was represented by Dr John Hogan.
The Princess Royal was represented by the Viscount Ridley.
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were represented by Mr Gavin Mcfarlane Black.
The Duke of Kent was represented by Mr Nicolas Adamson.

The Prince of Wales, Vice Patron, the British Council, this morning received Sir Martin Davidson upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Executive and Mr Ciaráne Devane upon assuming the appointment.
His Royal Highness, President, Business in the Community, this afternoon received Mr Shabir Randeree (Chairman, Mosaic), Mr Jonathan Freeman (Managing Director) and Mr Stephen Howard (Chief Executive, Business in the Community).
The Prince of Wales, Patron, Step Up To Serve, afterwards held an Advisory Council Meeting and Reception at Clarence House.
His Royal Highness subsequently received Mr Gordon Mizner (Chief Executive of the Engineering Development Trust).
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening gave a Reception to mark the Centenary of the Performing Rights Society, at Clarence House.

Prince Henry of Wales this morning visited Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Muscat, Oman.
His Royal Highness later departed Muscat International Airport for the United Arab Emirates.
Prince Henry of Wales, Patron, Sentebale, this evening played in the Sentebale Polo Cup and attended a Gala Dinner at the Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club, Abu Dhabi.

The Duke of York this morning visited King Abdullah Economic City visitors’ centre, Saudi Arabia.
His Royal Highness later met young entrepreneurs at the World Academy, King Abdullah Economic City.
The Duke of York this afternoon attended a Lunch and Live Pitching event held by King Abdullah Economic City Start Ups in partnership with Pitch on Tour for Saudi and British entrepreneurs at the Bay La Sun Hotel.
His Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner given by Khalid Ali Reza (Chief Executive Officer, Xenel Group) at the Ali Reza Residence.
