Mrs Anne Milton MP was received by The Queen upon her appointment as Vice-Chamberlain of the Household when Her Majesty handed to her her Wand of Office.
Mrs Anne Milton MP, as Vice-Chamberlain of the Household, subsequently presented Addresses from the House of Commons to The Queen to which Her Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply.
His Excellency Mr Guy Hewitt was received by The Queen today upon his appointment as High Commissioner for Barbados in London.

The Duke of York this morning attended a Meeting with Mrs Alokra Mitra (Founder, Women’s Interlink Foundation) and Mrs Penelope McIvor (Co-Founder, Key to Freedom) at the Residence in New Delhi, India.
His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Lunch given by the British High Commissioner to the Republic of India (His Excellency Sir James Bevan) at the Residence.
The Duke of York later met Finalists from the GREAT Debates Competition.

The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited Forth Bridges Contact and Education Centre, West Lothian, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor David Wilson, the Rt. Hon. the Lord Provost).
His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Edinburgh College of Art, 74 Lauriston Place, Edinburgh.
The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Royal Blind, afterwards opened the Royal Blind School’s redeveloped Canaan Lane Campus, 43-45 Canaan Lane, Edinburgh.
His Royal Highness later visited Queen Margaret University, Queen Margaret Drive, Musselburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of East Lothian (Major Michael Williams).

The Duke of Kent this morning visited the Fairfield and Howley Neighbourhood Projects, Willis Street, Warrington, and presented The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire (Mr. David Briggs).
His Royal Highness later presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Innovation to Heat Trace Limited, Chester Road, Helsby Frodsham, Cheshire.
