The Prince of Wales, President, WWF-UK, this morning attended a Meeting for the Forest Campaign at the Royal Society, 6-9 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1, followed by a Reception.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Safer London Foundation, this afternoon gave a Reception at Clarence House.

The President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, accompanied by Dr Abdullah Abdullah (Chief Executive Officer of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan), visited The Prince of Wales.

His Royal Highness later received the Rt Hon Justine Greening, MP (Secretary of State for International Development).

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning opened the new Nifco UK Limited factory, Durham Lane, Stockton-on-Tees, Cleveland, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Durham (Mrs Susan Snowdon).

His Royal Highness today opened Trinity Square, Gateshead, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear (Sir Nigel Sherlock).

The Duke of York, Admiral, Sea Cadets Corps, this afternoon opened Derwenthaugh Boat House, Blaydon-on-Tyne, Tyne and Wear.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Studio Schools Trust, later visited Studio West, West Denton Way, Newcastle upon Tyne.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester this evening attended a Royal Banquet, in the presence of The Queen of Denmark, to mark the Ninetieth Anniversary of the Anglo-Danish Society at Drapers’ Hall, Throgmorton Avenue, London EC2.
