The Queen received the Bishop of Guildford (the Right Reverend Andrew Watson who did homage upon his appointment.
The Rt Hon Christopher Grayling MP (Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice) administered the Oath.
The Bishop of Carlisle (Clerk of the Closet) was in attendance.
The Reverend Prebendary William Scott was received by The Queen upon relinquishing his appointment as Sub-Dean of Her Majesty’s Chapels Royal, Sub-Dean and Domestic Chaplain of the Ecclesiastical Household, Deputy Clerk of the Closet and Sub-Almoner when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Commander of the Royal Victorian Order.
The Reverend Paul Wright was received by The Queen upon assuming the appointment of Sub-Dean of Her Majesty’s Chapels Royal, Sub-Dean and Domestic Chaplain of the Ecclesiastical Household, Deputy Clerk of the Closet and Sub-Almoner.
The following were received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon their appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassadors: Sir Geoffrey Adams (the Kingdom of the Netherlands), Mr. Andrew Noble (the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria) and Ms Alison Rose (the Kingdom of Belgium).
Lady Adams and Mrs Pugh Noble were also received by Her Majesty.
Mr Roderic Todd was received in audience by The Queen upon his appointment as British High Commissioner to the Republic of Cyprus.
Mrs. Todd was also received by Her Majesty.
The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon attended His Royal Highness’s Accounting for Sustainability Project’s Annual Forum at the Institute of Directors, 116 Pall Mall, London SW1.
The Prince of Wales this evening held the Accounting for Sustainability Summit Dinner at St. James’s Palace.
The Duchess of Cornwall, Commodore-in-Chief, Royal Naval Medical Service, this morning received Surgeon Commodore Robin McNeill Love RN upon relinquishing his appointment as Head of the Service and Surgeon Commodore Peter Buxton RN upon assuming the appointment.
Her Royal Highness, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Leeming, received Group Captain Stephen Reeves upon relinquishing his appointment as Station Commander and Group Captain David Bradshaw upon assuming the appointment.
The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Helen and Douglas House, this afternoon received Mr Thomas Hill upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Executive.
Her Royal Highness, Patron, received children and young people from Helen and Douglas House and helped them to decorate the Christmas tree at Clarence House.
The Duchess of Cornwall received the Duchess of Abercorn (Founder and Patron, the Pushkin Trust).

The Duke of York, Patron, Baker Dearing Educational Trust, this morning opened Swindon University Technical College, Park House, Church Place, Swindon, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mrs Peter Troughton).
His Royal Highness later visited OrganOx, Oxford Science Park, Oxford, and was received by Mr Paul Bradstock (Deputy Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).
The Duke of York this afternoon attended a Luncheon at ISIS Innovation, Oxford Science Park.

His Royal Highness, President, held a Meeting for Sport and Recreation Alliance.
