The Princess Royal, Chancellor, the University of Edinburgh, this morning visited the King’s Buildings Campus, West Mains Road, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Donald Wilson, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).
Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the National Mining Museum Scotland, Lady Victoria Colliery, Newtongrange, on the occasion of its Thirtieth Anniversary, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Midlothian (Sir Robert Clerk, Bt.).
