The Duke of York, Colonel-in-Chief, 9th/12th Lancers (Prince of Wales’s), today received Lieutenant Colonel Richard Slack upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Marcus Mudd upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief, The Yorkshire Regiment (14th/15th, 19th and 33rd/76th Foot), this afternoon received Major General Graham Binns (Colonel).

The Duke of York, United Kingdom Patron, Omani British Friendship Association, received Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles (United Kingdom Chairman).

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, and The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, today joined young people taking part in outward bound activities at their camp in Kuusamo, Finland.

Their Royal Highnesses this evening visited the Finnish Sauna Society, Vaskiniementie 10, Helsinki.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the War Horse Ride 2014, this evening attended a Reception at the Cavalry and Guards Club, 127 Piccadilly, London W1.

Her Royal Highness, President, British Olympic Association, later held a Dinner at St James’s Palace.
