Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Queen was represented by Mrs Michael Gordon Lennox at the Funeral of Lady Villiers which was held in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Sunningdale, Berkshire, this morning.

The Duchess of Cornwall today attended the Royal Artillery Gold Cup Day at Sandown Park Racecourse, Portsmouth Road, Esher, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Dame Sarah Goad).

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Royal Patron, the Dresden Trust, this afternoon attended a Lunch given by the Mayor of Dresden at Hotel de Saxe, Dresden, Germany, on the occasion of ceremonies marking the Seventieth Anniversary of the destruction of Dresden.

His Royal Highness later attended a Service in Frauenkirche, Dresden.
