Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr Erzhan Kazykhanov was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Danara Kazykhanova was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Nasser Kamel was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Dalia Elbatal was also received by Her Majesty.

Mrs Deborah Bronnert (Chief Operating Officer of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office) was present.

The President of the Republic of Malta and Mr Edgar Preca visited The Queen this afternoon.

The Rt Hon David Cameron MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of Her Majesty this evening.

The Duke of Edinburgh, former Grand President, Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League, this afternoon attended a Luncheon to mark His Royal Highness’s tenure as Grand President, the Army and Navy Club, 36-39 Pall Mall, London SW1.

The Duke of Edinburgh was represented by Brigadier Archibald Miller-Bakewell at the Service of Celebration for the Life of Sir Thomas Macpherson of Biallid which was held in St Columba’s Church of Scotland, Pont Street, London SW1, today.

The Prince of Wales, President, Water Aid, this morning visited Lee Valley Tunnel Compound and Abbey Mills Pumping Station, Abbey Lane, London E15, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer).

His Royal Highness this afternoon received the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario (the Hon Elizabeth Dowdeswell).

The Prince of Wales received the Colombian Ambassador (His Excellency Mr Nestor Osorio).

His Royal Highness, President, Business in the Community, received Mr Mark Price upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Mr Antony Jenkins upon assuming the appointment.

The Prince of Wales, Royal Honorary Colonel, The Queen’s Own Yeomanry, received Colonel Hugh Campbell-Smith upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Colonel Sean Costello upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness this evening gave a Dinner for Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force Officers at Clarence House.

The Duchess of Cambridge this morning visited the Emma Bridgewater Factory, Lichfield Street, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Mr Ian Dudson).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited an Action for Children project at Cape Hill Children’s Centre, Corbett Street, Bearwood, Birmingham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr Paul Sabapathy).

Her Royal Highness this evening attended an Emerging Leaders’ Dialogues Canada Dinner at Power Corporation of Canada, 751 Victoria Square, Montreal.
