Buckingham Palace

The Queen, Patron, the Magna Carta Trust, and The Duke of Edinburgh gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace this evening to mark the Eight Hundredth Anniversary of the Sealing of the Magna Carta.

The Princess Royal, The Duke of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent and Prince Michael of Kent were present.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this afternoon opened the Whittle Building at Peterhouse, Trumpington Street, Cambridge, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire (Mr Hugh Duberly).

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Butler Trust, this afternoon visited HM Prison Huntercombe, Nuffield, and was received by Mrs Marion Stevenson (Deputy Lieutenant of Oxfordshire).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust, this afternoon received Mr. Stephen Watkins upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Mr. Wallace Hendrie upon assuming the appointment.
