The Duke of Cambridge today carried out the following engagements in Japan.

His Royal Highness this morning visited Ishinomaki NewSea building, Ishinomaki.

The Duke of Cambridge afterwards laid a commemorative flower arrangement at Hoyoriyama Hill Vantage Point, Ishinomaki, in remembrance of the tsunami victims.

His Royal Highness subsequently visited the Chime of Hope Market, Onagawa.

The Duke of Cambridge this afternoon visited Matsushima Airbase in Miyagi Prefecture.

His Royal Highness later departed Narita International Airport, Tokyo, for China and was received upon arrival at Beijing International Airport this evening by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China (Her Excellency Ms Barbara Woodward).
