Windsor Castle

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh gave a Dinner Party at Windsor Castle this evening at which The Duke of York was present.

The following were invited: His Excellency the Ambassador of the United States of America and Mrs Barzun, His Excellency the High Commissioner for the Republic of Malta (Mr Norman Hamilton), the Most Reverend and Right Honourable the Lord Archbishop of Canterbury and Mrs Welby, Dame Maggie Smith, Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London and Lady Brewer, Mr and Mrs Mark Carney, Mr Christopher de Bellaigue and Ms Bita Ghezelayagh, Mr and Mrs Christopher Le Brun, Admiral Sir James and Lady Perowne, Mr and Mrs Paul Sedgwick, and Lieutenant Colonel and Mrs Toby Till.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning visited the offices of AkzoNobel, Wexham Road, Slough, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (Mr James Puxley).

His Royal Highness later visited the Headquarters of Building Services Research and Information Association Limited, Old Bracknell Lane West, Bracknell, Berkshire.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning opened Worcestershire Oncology Centre and visited Meadow Birth Centre, Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Charles Hastings Way, Worcester, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire (Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Holcroft).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Severn Valley Railway, the Railway Station, Comberton Hill, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, to mark its Fiftieth Anniversary,

The Princess Royal, President, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences, this evening held the Commonwealth Study Conference Leaders Conference Opening Reception at St James’s Palace.

The Duke of Kent, President, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences (United Kingdom Fund), this evening attended a Reception at St. James’s Palace to mark the opening of the Commonwealth Studies Conferences Leaders Conference.
