The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were present at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Brigadier the Duke of Wellington KG which was held in the Guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks, Birdcage Walk, London SW1, today.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, The Earl and Countess of Wessex and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen-at-Arms and The Queen’s Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.

The Bands of the Household Cavalry and the Royal Logistic Corps played selections of music during the afternoon.

The Prince of Wales, Chairman, The Prince of Wales Charitable Foundation, this afternoon held a Meeting with representatives of The Prince’s Social Enterprises Limited and Waitrose.

Prince Henry of Wales, accompanied by the Rt Hon John Key MP (Prime Minister of New Zealand), this morning travelled by tram through the centre of Christchurch, New Zealand.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited the Quake City Exhibition and Re:Start Container Mall.

Prince Henry of Wales this afternoon visited the Student Volunteer Army at the University of Canterbury, Christchurch.
