The Rt Hon Gregory Hands MP was received by Her Majesty and delivered up his Wand of Office upon relinquishing his appointment as Treasurer of the Household.

The Rt Hon Anne Milton MP was received by The Queen upon her appointment as Treasurer of the Household when Her Majesty handed to her her Wand of Office.

The Rt Hon Donald Foster was received by The Queen when he delivered up his Wand of Office upon relinquishing his appointment as Comptroller of the Household.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning arrived at Shannon Airport, County Clare, and were received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Ireland (His Excellency Mr Dominick Chilcott).

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited the National University of Ireland, Galway, University Road, Galway, County Galway.

The Prince of Wales later received Mr Micheál Martin (Leader of Fianna Fáil).

His Royal Highness received Mr Gerry Adams (President of Sinn Fein).

The Prince of Wales, President, the International Sustainability Unit, this afternoon visited the Marine Institute, Oranmore, County Galway, and was received by the Taoiseach (His Excellency Mr Enda Kenny).

His Royal Highness subsequently visited Slieve Carran, the Burren.

The Duchess of Cornwall later visited Taste of the Wild Atlantic Way Food Festival at the House Hotel, Spanish Parade, Latin Quarter, Galway.

His Royal Highness, Royal Honorary Colonel, The London Regiment, this afternoon received Brigadier Jeremy Mooney upon relinquishing his appointment as Regimental Lieutenant Colonel and Lieutenant Colonel Rupert Pim upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer and Lieutenant Colonel Timothy Smart upon assuming the appointment .

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening attended a Dinner for the Israel Youth Award at the Savoy, Strand, London WC2.

The Countess of Wessex this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for the Czech Republic and was later received on arrival at Václav Havel International Airport, Prague, by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Czech Republic (Her Excellency Miss Jan Thompson).

Her Royal Highness later attended a Garden Party for The Queen’s Birthday at the Residence.

The Countess of Wessex was received by The President of the Czech Republic at the Residence.

The Princess Royal later opened Barrhead Foundry, Main Street, Barrhead, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Renfrewshire (Mr Guy Clark).

The Duke of Gloucester this morning arrived at São Paulo Guarulhos International Airport, Brazil, and, having been received by Her Majesty’s Consul-General for São Paulo (Ms. Joanna Crellin), carried out the following engagements in São Paulo.
