The Duke of Kent this morning visited Solihull College and opened Woodlands Campus, Auckland Drive, Solihull, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr. Paul Sabapathy).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Resorts Birmingham leisure complex, Pendigo Way, Birmingham.

The Duke of Kent later visited Hadley Industries Holdings Limited, Gaitskell Way Site, off Dartmouth Road, Smethwick, West Midlands.

The Queen has been pleased to appoint the Reverend Prebendary Edward Mason to be a Chaplain to Her Majesty in succession to the Reverend Canon John Ovenden.
